Job Description
The Role: This role involves loading/unloading materials, breaking pallet loads, listing shipments, cleaning the Carton Yard, and assisting with inventory. Key requirements include forklift certification, math skills, the ability to work independently, and availability for rotating shifts. Must be willing to relocate to CA or AZ. Bilingual skills and computer knowledge are preferred, and reliable attendance is required.
Location(s): Salinas, CA; Tres Picos, CA; Imperial, CA; Yuma, AZ
Areas of Responsibility:
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, lifting devices, and harvest supply trucks
- Breaks pallet loads
- Lists Cargo Shipments
- Cleans Carton Yard
- Assists in Inventory Control
- Any other work as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be able to be certified to operate a forklift
- Must have good math skills
- Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision
- Must work independently with great attention to detail
- Must be able to work a rotating shift
- Must be able to work at least six days a week, regularly and reliably
- Must be able to relocate to other production areas such as Imperial and Five Points, California and Yuma, Arizona
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (read and write) is preferred but not required
- Forklift-certified candidates preferred
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Computer skills desirable
