Job Description Summary

As the HDNU Change Leader, you will own the execution of the Management of Change (MOC) process for HDNU gas turbine customer requirements, from initial Change Issue (CHGIs) throughout full completion (CA, CH, UCO) within the Greenville, SC factory. This consists of identifying when a change is proposed, executing the change, partnering with the cross functional team to determine the cut in plan, and ensuring risks are captured and mitigated by the production team.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  •        Define cross functional MOC team for HDNU changes based on change requirementsCoordinate inputs to Technical Change Forum (TCF) for CHGI review & approval on behalf of Global Supply Chain (for potential [GVL/EPF] factory execution)
  •        Screen for change impact and risksAct as key liaison between the plant leader, project team, product & configuration engineering team, and extended supply chain team (e.g., Materials management, Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations)
  •        Conduct risk assessment (as needed) and define risk mitigation actions with collaboration from cross functional MOC teamDrive execution of changes post CHGI approval, via Change Actions (CA), till being fully released and deployed
  •        Develop and maintain communication plans throughout the change lifecycleCreate detailed project plans and Gantt charts with clear milestones and critical paths
  •        Monitor change execution on a recurring basisCoordinate resources and manage project timelines
  •        Ensure compliance with customer specifications and corporate requirementsAssess effectiveness and sustainability of change (confirm change requirements are met and stable over time)

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  •        Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fieldExperience in project management, process improvement, or change managementMinimum of 8 years leading Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Quality

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Knowledge of MOC processes and methodologies

    • Knowledge of BOMs and ERPs

    • Basic knowledge of materials management, manufacturing engineering, quality management and shop operations standard work

    • Ability to create and implement standard work

    • FMEA and other risk-based assessment tools

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

    • Proven ability to influence people, as well as lead cross-functional teams

    • Stakeholder management and negotiation skills

    • Attention to detail and documentation skills

    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Basic knowledge on power plant components and its functioning

    For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $107,600.00 and $179,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
