Who we are looking for

We are seeking a strategic, transformational technology executive to serve as Senior Vice President, Head of Accounting & Fund Administration Technology.

This leader will be responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy for a global Accounting & Fund Administration organization, delivering mission-critical platforms that support fund accounting, financial reporting, insurance accounting, NAV production, and related administration services across traditional and alternative investment products.

The successful candidate will lead a large global organization and oversee technology strategy, engineering, delivery, operations, and modernization across a complex portfolio. They will drive innovation through cloud-native architectures, data and AI capabilities, automation, and modern engineering practices, while ensuring operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client outcomes.

This executive will partner closely with business, product, operations, risk, and enterprise technology leaders to accelerate growth, modernize platforms, improve scalability and productivity, and enhance the overall client experience.

What you will be responsible for

Accounting & Fund Administration Leadership

  • Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for Accounting & Fund Administration aligned to business priorities, client needs, and enterprise objectives.
  • Lead the engineering, delivery, support, and modernization of platforms supporting fund accounting, financial reporting, insurance accounting, NAV production, and related administration services.
  • Drive application architecture, platform simplification, cloud adoption, and technology lifecycle management across the portfolio.
  • Ensure delivery excellence through highly resilient, scalable, secure, and performant technology solutions.
  • Accountable for platform stability, operational resiliency, service quality, regulatory adherence, and achievement of business and client outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, Risk, and Client-facing teams to enhance capabilities, enable new products, support client growth, and improve competitive differentiation.
  • Establish engineering standards, DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement disciplines that accelerate delivery and improve productivity. 

Transformation & Innovation

  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives focused on modernization, application rationalization, operating model optimization, and technology simplification.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, modern engineering practices, data platforms, and automation capabilities across the organization.
  • Champion the use of AI, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions to transform software delivery, operational workflows, risk management, knowledge management, and client servicing experiences.
  • Establish KPI-driven performance management frameworks focused on delivery execution, operational excellence, productivity, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Drive data-driven decision making through enhanced analytics, metrics, operational insights, and capacity planning.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and technology excellence.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of technology leadership experience, including significant experience within financial services.
  • Extensive experience leading technology organizations supporting asset servicing, fund administration, insurance accounting, fund accounting, or related financial services businesses.
  • Proven track record leading large global teams and delivering complex transformation programs at scale.
  • Experience driving cloud transformation, platform modernization, and engineering excellence initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging data, automation, AI, and agentic AI solutions to modernize operations and improve business performance.
  • Experience operating effectively within a complex matrix organization and managing across multiple geographies.

Salary Range:

$225,000 - $337,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
