Job Description

Position Summary:

TCL North America is seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Content & Creative to lead and elevate our end-to-end creative and content ecosystem across all product categories. This role is responsible for shaping TCL's brand storytelling, defining creative direction, and driving world-class execution across retail, digital, social, and brand touchpoints.

As a key leader within the Marketing organization, you will oversee brand identity, campaign development, content systems, and cross-functional creative strategies that support go-to-market success. You will guide a high-performing team of designers, writers, editors, and creators, while partnering closely with Product Marketing, IMC, Digital, and Sales teams to deliver impactful, conversion-driven content that strengthens brand perception and drives business growth.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of creative vision and operational discipline, with a strong ability to translate product innovation into compelling narratives and scalable content systems within a fast-paced, global environment.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Creative Strategy and Brand Storytelling

  • Define and maintain a clear, differentiated creative vision across all TCL product categories
  • Develop narrative frameworks that unify branding, digital, retail, PR, and social storytelling
  • Translate product innovation and consumer insights into compelling, emotionally resonant content
  • Lead the development of key visuals, campaign direction, and creative assets for major product launches
  • Continuously elevate TCL's visual and verbal identity to support premium brand positioning

Content Systems and Scalable Execution

  • Build and scale TCL's cross-category content ecosystem to enable consistent, modular, and high-impact storytelling
  • Establish creative playbooks and guidelines across PDP, A+, video, social, retail demos, and campaign toolkits
  • Oversee the development of complete content kits for product launches with clear deliverables and timelines
  • Ensure all content is optimized for digital performance, conversion, and retail readiness across channels
  • Implement workflows, templates, and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and speed to market

Team Leadership and Creative Excellence

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team across design, copy, video, and content production
  • Set and uphold a high bar for creative quality, innovation, and execution across all outputs
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage and collaborate with external agencies, production partners, and creators as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate product strategy into clear and compelling creative narratives
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) to align creative with go-to-market phases and campaigns
  • Work closely with Digital, Retail.com, and Retail Activation teams to deliver impactful, conversion-driven content
  • Align with Brand Marketing to ensure cultural relevance and amplification across channels
  • Collaborate with Product Intelligence and data teams to support AI-enabled content workflows and optimization

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, film, visual arts, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of creative leadership experience in consumer electronics, global tech, entertainment, gaming, or agency environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-level creative, key visuals, campaigns, video, retail experiences, and multi-channel content programs.
  • Experience building or leading creative/content studios, scalable content systems, or narrative frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead creative across digital, retail, social, brand, and in-store channels.
  • Experience producing content for retail.com, including PDP and A+ assets.
  • Strong understanding of creative performance, consumer insights, and conversion metrics.
  • Skilled in creative direction, storytelling, design fundamentals, copywriting, and narrative architecture.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and developing creative teams.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with executive leadership and influence cross-functional decisions.
  • Strong operational discipline, including systems, workflows, templates, and process management.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with AI-assisted content creation and emerging creative technologies
  • Background in consumer electronics, smart home, gaming, or other fast-paced technology categories
  • Experience working within a global organization and navigating HQ-to-market alignment
  • Familiarity with key retail partners such as Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Costco, T-Mobile, and Verizon
