Head of Data Center Engineering & Operations Location: Dallas, TX Company: Broadstaff The Role: We are seeking a Head of Data Center Engineering & Operations to lead engineering and facilities operations at our Dallas data center. This hands-on leadership role ensures 24/7 uptime, safety, and operational excellence for mission-critical systems. You will manage a local engineering team, oversee maintenance and construction, and implement SOPs to deliver reliability for high-performance compute customers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop facilities engineering team. Oversee electrical, mechanical, and plumbing infrastructure (UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC). Manage vendors, contractors, and on-site staff. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications: 5+ years in large-scale, mission-critical data center operations; 3+ years in leadership. Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, chillers). Strong knowledge of redundancy (N+1, 2N) and failover. Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and compliance standards. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
