About the job
As Head of Legal SupportforNorth America, you lead andfurther developthe legal and compliance function for Sandvik’s mining business across the region, ensuring alignment with our business strategy. You collaborate with divisions, business units, andthe global legal and compliancefunctionto future-proof and align our legal strategy.
You report to the General Counsel for business area Mining withinand are a trusted and valued member of thelegal and compliance management team, headed by the General Counsel for Mining and thesales area management team, ledby the Sales Area Vice President for the US.
Location
This role is preferably based in Denver,the USA.Some travelis a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We'relooking for someone withseveral years of experienceleadinghigh-performinglegal and compliance teams within international business environments–ideallywithin industrieslikeours.You holda law degree and have proven experience managing legal and compliance topics, along witha proventrack recordof leading people and buildinghigh-performingteams.
You bring hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas, including:
Commercial and contract law
Digital andTechnology Law
Compliance management in complex, global organizations
