This role is responsible for assembling and welding headers and related components according to specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.The ideal Header Welder has strong welding experience, blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous welding experience required (header or structural welding preferred) Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina Familiarity with fabrication tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments Understanding of workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIREDEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform welding on headers, piping, and related components using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication Measure, cut, fit, and align metal components prior to welding Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications Repair or rework defective welds when necessary Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlinesPreferred Qualifications Previous header welding experience Welding certifications preferred Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments Knowledge of welding codes and quality inspection proceduresEducation & Experience High School Diploma or GED required Welding certification preferred Prior manufacturing, fabrication, or construction experience preferredPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift Ability to lift and move materials as needed Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and welding fumes Ability to safely wear required PPE throughout the workdayWork Environment Manufacturing and fabrication environment Exposure to welding equipment, metal fabrication tools, and industrial materials Fast-paced production setting focused on safety, quality, and efficiency Team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and advancementWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay rate Day shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on specialized fabrication projects Stable manufacturing environment with advancement potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 918-576-7117 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:507 E.
