This entry-level position provides hands-on training alongside experienced welders while learning the fabrication, assembly, and welding of industrial headers and structural components.This is an outstanding opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in welding and fabrication. Successful candidates will receive practical experience in welding techniques, blueprint reading, fabrication processes, quality control, and workplace safety.Required Experience & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Interest in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing careers Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic math calculations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow instructions and learn new welding techniques Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Assist experienced welders with the fabrication and assembly of headers and structural components Learn and perform basic welding operations under direct supervision Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions Measure, cut, grind, and fit metal components in preparation for welding Safely operate welding equipment, fabrication tools, and shop machinery Inspect workpieces for defects and assist with quality control inspections Clean, organize, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and production requirements Participate in hands-on welding training and skill development programs Assist with repairing and reworking welds under the direction of experienced welders and supervisorsPreferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, construction, or fabrication experience Vocational or technical training in welding is a plus Experience using grinders, saws, measuring tools, or fabrication equipment Desire to advance into a certified Header Welder positionPhysical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, sparks, heat, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environmentWork Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous learning Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication machinery, heavy steel materials, heat, sparks, and industrial shop conditions Team-oriented workplace offering structured training and long-term career development opportunitiesWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $19.50/hour Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Hands-on training from experienced welders in a specialized trade Clear path toward becoming a skilled Header Welder with opportunities for advancement and increased earning potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-576-7117 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel Claremore507 E.
