What You’ll Do
As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the overall clinical operations of the community while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing and care teams
Conduct resident assessments and oversee individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations
Oversee medication management and clinical documentation
Conduct audits, investigations, and incident follow-up
Partner with physicians, families, vendors, and community leadership
Support staffing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence
Respond to community emergencies and clinical concerns as needed
What We’re Looking For?
We are seeking a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced senior living environment and genuinely enjoys serving residents and supporting teams.
Qualifications:
- RN license in good standing (RN preferred)
- 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
- Senior living, geriatric nursing, memory care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and infection control practices
- Experience building, developing, and retaining nursing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

The salary range for this position is $69,377 to $110,823. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Pegasus Senior Living (PSL) offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off (PTO), Flexible hours for better work-life balance, Employee assistance program.(all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)., Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
