Performance Polymers is a world leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of structural and semi-structural adhesives,groutingand chocking compounds, sprayable syntactic materials and wear-resistant coatings and repair compounds. SUMMARY:

Our EHS team plays an important role in our business operations and EHS success. As the Health and Safety Manager for North America, you will get to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, leveraging your expertise in safety and incident management, and passion for establishing effective safety standards, to create great EHS outcomes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies by developing Division safety standards and programs, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Drive a culture of safety leadership and accountability across the Division by implementing ITW’s enterprise safety framework, collaborating with site teams to embed best practices into daily operations.

  • Establish and track key health and safety performance metrics across the Division, leveraging data insights to improve safety outcomes and prevent incidents.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and operational safety of our North American Sites, integrating industry best practices while balancing business needs.

  • Lead incident management and risk assessment efforts across our Division, ensuring thorough investigations, corrective actions, sharing of best practices, and continuous improvement.

  • Promote, support and adhere to all safety and quality related policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering) with significant experience in safety leadership.

  • Proven experience in managing health and safety programs, ensuring compliance, risk reduction, and a strong safety culture across multiple sites.

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, best practices, and performance metrics, with the ability to integrate them into operational strategies.

  • Experience developing and tracking key health and safety performance indicators, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ability to travel 25%

  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to balance compliance, operational efficiency, and cultural change.

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, engaging teams at all levels to promote a proactive safety culture.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator, able to translate safety objectives into actionable initiatives for diverse stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem-solver, continuously identifying opportunities to enhance workplace safety and reduce risk.

Compensation Information:

The salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000.This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
