Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Health & Safety Specialist to support refinery operations and drive a strong safety culture across the organization. This is full time direct hire position that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

What you’ll do:

Lead and support incident investigations, audits, and risk mitigation
Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable industry standards
Conduct safety inspections, training, and compliance reviews
Support emergency response, ICS, industrial hygiene, and fire protection
Partner with leadership and represent H&S when the manager is absent
Support refinery shutdowns and turnarounds

What we’re looking for:

5+ years HSE experience in refining, chemical, or heavy industrial environments
Strong incident investigation and regulatory knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
CSP strongly preferred (ASP/CIH a plus)
Comfortable in the field and during on-call/emergency situations
