Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Care Attorney to join our legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of health care matters, providing legal advice and support to our clients in the health care industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating complex legal matters, developing strategies, and ensuring that our clients are in compliance with all health care laws and regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities:1. Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the health care industry on a wide range of issues, including regulatory compliance, patient privacy, fraud and abuse, and reimbursement matters.2. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to health care services, including provider agreements, joint venture agreements, and managed care contracts.3. Advise clients on the legal aspects of health care operations, including risk management, patient care issues, and employment matters.4. Represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings related to health care matters.5. Stay updated on current trends, laws, and regulations in the health care industry and advise clients accordingly.6. Develop strategies to manage legal risks and ensure that our clients are in compliance with all health care laws and regulations.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Health Care Attorney, preferably with a law firm or in-house legal department.3. Strong knowledge of health care laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Stark Law.4. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.5. Strong litigation experience, including experience in administrative proceedings.6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.9. Must be a member in good standing of the TN bar.Interested in hearing more?
