Job Description
Project ManagerA well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Houston-area team. This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering complex renovation, healthcare, institutional, and Job Order Contracting (JOC) projects throughout the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys managing multiple fast-paced projects, working directly with clients, and driving projects from preconstruction through closeout.The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction and estimating support through project completion. The successful candidate will have experience managing healthcare, institutional, renovation, or public-sector projects and possess a strong understanding of budgeting, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and client management. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Demonstrated estimating experience, including conceptual estimating, budgeting, bidding, and change orders
Experience delivering healthcare, institutional, government, or public-sector projects
Strong understanding of renovation and occupied-space construction
Proficiency with project management and estimating software
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
