Healthcare Associate – FDA & Life Sciences
Our client, a top AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Healthcare Associate to join its Life Sciences Team in the Washington, D.C. office. This role involves life sciences regulatory advisory work, contract review, and transactional work including M&A, IPOs, private equity, venture capital, and debt finance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on FDA regulatory compliance experience across drugs, biologics, and medical devices, as well as experience with OIG, CMS, and DOJ matters impacting the life sciences industry.
The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar or Virginia Bar
- 3–5 years of life sciences law experience at a top law firm
- FDA regulatory compliance experience in drugs, biologics, and/or medical devices required (INDs, NDAs, BLAs, 510(k)s, product labeling, recalls, inspections, adverse event management)
- Experience with advertising and promotional review for drugs, devices, dietary supplements, and biologics
- Experience with anti-kickback, False Claims Act, OIG/DOJ compliance, and drug pricing matters is a plus
- Prior in-house healthcare, FDA, CMS, or DOJ experience is a plus
- Strong writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Strong academic credentials required
