Job Description

Healthcare EstimatorPrepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising project quality. Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid proposals and attending pre-bid meetings. Track and analyze project costs, ensuring they remain within budget. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and cost fluctuations.A successful Healthcare Estimator should have: Strong knowledge of construction practices, particularly within the healthcare sector. Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate estimates.
