Senior Healthcare Attorney | Sarasota/Tampa
A well-established law firm is seeking a Senior Healthcare Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its Sarasota/Tampa-area practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare litigator with a strong background in medical malpractice, complex litigation, and federal litigation, along with additional experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
What You'll Do
- Handle complex medical malpractice and healthcare-related litigation from inception through resolution
- Manage sophisticated matters in both state and federal courts, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial
- Advise healthcare providers and organizations on licensing, regulatory, compliance, and risk-management issues
- Handle or advise on healthcare-related white collar criminal matters and investigations
- Develop litigation and legal strategies for high-stakes healthcare disputes
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor on complex legal matters
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of meaningful legal experience
- Strong medical malpractice and complex litigation background
- Significant federal litigation experience
- Additional experience with healthcare licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Experience handling healthcare-related white collar criminal matters is a plus
- Florida Bar admission
- Strong research, writing, advocacy, and client-management skills
- Existing book of business is a significant plus
