Construction Manager (Field PM/Superintendent)

Job Description
Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through completion in the Hilton Head market. Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and project partners. Maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements. Coordinate closely with project management and operations teams to ensure project success. Oversee healthcare, higher education, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects. Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining project momentum. Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations. Facilitate communication among clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Support project commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant
5+ years of commercial construction field experience. Experience as a Superintendent, Field Project Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role. Active healthcare or hospital construction experience is highly preferred. Experience with higher education, institutional, or commercial projects is also desirable. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background is a plus. Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and project execution. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Stable employment history with demonstrated project success. Ability to work full-time on-site in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
