Job Description
Healthcare Construction Project Manager
- DC MetroThe Healthcare Construction Project Manager
- DC Metro will:Own end-to-end delivery of hospital construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution
Partner with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure milestones are met
Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Manage budgets, track costs, and ensure financial efficiency across all phases
Review and approve invoices, contracts, and change orders
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety codes, and build standards
Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures
Communicate project updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders
Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns

- DC Metro will have:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field10+ years of construction project management experience, ideally within healthcare
Strong background working with a General Contractor (required or previous experience)Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or PrimaveraDeep understanding of healthcare construction standards, compliance, and best practices
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage high-visibility projects independently
