This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide legal counsel and advice to our organization on a wide range of healthcare legal matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in healthcare, life science, government, and motions, and will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support to our organization's healthcare operations.Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to our healthcare operations, including the analysis and interpretation of healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and implement legal strategies and solutions to complex healthcare legal issues and challenges.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation and administrative hearings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to healthcare operations.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team and cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations and advise the organization on potential impacts.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A member in good standing of a state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in healthcare, life science, government, and motions.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act.
- Proven experience in litigation and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
