Job InformationJob Title: Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant V Location: Partially Remote (DC, MD or VA) Duration: 12 Months ContractManagement Level: Individual Contributor (IC5 Functional/Technical Specialist)Position Summary The Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant V is responsible for driving strategic, data-informed decision-making by gathering, preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex business and clinical data. This role focuses on designing advanced analytics, building automated reporting solutions, developing statistical models, and delivering actionable insights that support business objectives across multiple functional areas.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze complex business and clinical datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Develop advanced analytical and statistical models to support business decisions.
- Design, implement, and automate business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reports.
- Create meaningful reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Validate analytical models and continuously improve reporting accuracy.
- Gather, extract, merge, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Profile data quality issues and recommend process improvements.
- Clean, transform, and prepare datasets for analytics.
- Perform routine data refreshes and maintain reporting datasets.
- Develop electronic data collection tools and provide user support.
- Partner with business leaders, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build strong relationships across departments.
- Influence stakeholders using data-driven insights.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
- Design BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Create summary statistics and performance metrics.
- Automate reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation for reporting solutions.
- Lead analytics projects from planning through execution.
- Develop project work plans and timelines.
- Coordinate internal and external resources.
- Monitor project risks and progress.
- Ensure compliance with organizational procedures and policies.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a related field.
- 3+ years of leadership experience (with or without direct reports).
