Job Description

Healthcare Host-HostessNOW! 

DPS is now hiring a Healthcare Host-Hostess for a Hospital Facility in Lenoir, NC. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.  

Job Details:

Location: 321 Mulberry St SW Lenoir, NC 28645

Schedule: 1:00pm - 7:00pm (Days vary)

Starting Pay Rate: $17.96 Hourly + (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire 

Healthcare Host-HostessResponsibilities:  

  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and guests to ensure accuracy and timeliness of meal service.
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units, assist with bedside meal setup, and collect soiled trays.
  • Maintain nourishment areas by taking inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness. 
  • Operate technical food service equipment and handle cashiering duties in the cafeteria. 
  • Perform sanitation activities, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and general janitorial tasks.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required. 

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of food service, kitchen, or healthcare hospitality experience preferred. 
  • Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work quickly under pressure. 
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and walk/stand for extended periods.
