Contract- 13 weeks
Shift- Days 8:00am-4:30pm
Human Resources Generalist
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance, onboarding, and workforce support. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Provide guidance on performance management, corrective actions, documentation, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct initial employee relations investigations and escalate complex or high-risk issues as appropriate.
- Support onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and workforce trends to provide operational recommendations and support decision-making.
- Assist leaders with workforce planning by providing historical data and policy-based guidance.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and HR best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while handling confidential information with discretion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on HR projects and process improvements.
- Support compliance training and other HR-related programs as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.
- 2 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR policies, compliance, and performance management.
- Experience conducting employee investigations and providing guidance on corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Healthcare Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting HR data analysis, onboarding, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
