Healthcare Litigation Attorney – Payer-Side Managed CareFully Remote | Active State Bar License Required

A law firm is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Attorney for a fully remote opportunity representing large health insurers, plan administrators, and self-funded health plans. The practice focuses on payer-side healthcare litigation, provider payment disputes, managed care disputes, and healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.

This role offers a mix of arbitration and litigation. In-network provider payment disputes frequently proceed through arbitration, while out-of-network disputes involve more litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Represent health insurers, plan administrators, and self-funded health plans in managed care and provider disputes.

  • Handle provider payment and reimbursement disputes involving in-network and out-of-network providers.

  • Manage arbitrations and litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, hearings, and settlement negotiations.

  • Research and analyze healthcare regulations, contractual obligations, and reimbursement issues.

  • Handle healthcare regulatory disputes and advise clients on related compliance matters.

  • Develop case strategies and communicate legal analysis, risks, and recommendations to clients.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients while working remotely.

Qualifications

  • Active state bar license in good standing.

  • Relevant experience in healthcare litigation, managed care disputes, provider reimbursement, or healthcare regulatory matters.

  • Payer-side experience representing health insurers, plan administrators, or self-funded health plans preferred.

  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage complex matters, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.

  • Clear client communication and a collaborative approach.
