Responsibilities
Investigate medical cases and collect necessary data for case reviews.
Manage and prioritize a caseload using established pipelines and SLAs.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and privacy requirements.
Document findings clearly for internal quality audits and regulatory needs.
Collaborate with clinical teams to verify medical information and timelines.
Maintain accurate records of investigations, outcomes, and case status updates.
Maintain high visibility of work activity through transparent status updates and dashboards.
Prepare concise investigation summaries for stakeholders and leadership.
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
Utilize data to forecast potential case volumes and plan resource allocation.
Participate in regular performance reviews to track targets and outcomes.
Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members to foster growth.
Experience/Qualifications
Healthcare data privacy and HIPAA compliance knowledge.
Experience conducting medical investigations and case reviews.
Ability to manage caseload with SLAs and priority queues.
Strong documentation and medical record-keeping skills.
Collaboration with clinical teams to verify information and timelines.
Proficiency with dashboards, status updates, and data visibility.
Experience with data analysis to forecast case volumes and resource needs.
Process improvement mindset with track record of driving efficiency.
Ability to mentor and onboard new hires in a scalable manner.
