Responsibilities
Draft, review, and organize healthcare-related legal documents and contracts.
Manage client intake, maintain confidential medical records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Coordinate with attorneys to prepare case files and support litigation readiness.
Monitor matter pipelines and update status dashboards for leadership visibility.
Prepare and file court documents and administrative agency submissions on schedule.
Maintain accurate billable hours, deliverables, and progress reports for management.
Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations and summarize findings.
Support contract negotiations by gathering facts, timelines, and data room organization.
Assist with risk assessments and due diligence for healthcare-related matters.
Develop templates and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure timely updates.
Experience/Qualifications
Paralegal Certificate or in the process
Paralegal with healthcare law exposure and HIPAA knowledge.
Experience drafting and reviewing healthcare contracts and documents.
HIPAA compliance monitoring and privacy risk assessment.
Ability to manage client intake and maintain confidential medical records.
Litigation support: prepare case files and assist with submissions.
Maintain accurate billable hours, deliverables, and progress reporting.
Legal research on healthcare regulations with concise summaries.
Due diligence and risk assessment for healthcare matters.
Matter pipeline tracking and leadership dashboards update experience.
Data room organization and support for contract negotiations.
