Job Description
Healthcare Payment Posting & Reconciliation Specialist (Balancing Role) Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Role Overview This role focuses on payment accuracy and reconciliation within healthcare operations. The candidate will ensure all insurance payments are correctly processed, matched, and balanced. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) from insurance providers Post payments accurately into the system Reconcile payments against billed amounts Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments Apply adjustments such as deductibles, co-pays, and write-offs Ensure daily payment batches are balanced and accurate Maintain high accuracy in financial data handling Required Skills Strong understanding of healthcare insurance workflows & provider billing Hands-on experience with EOB processing & payment posting Experience in reconciliation / balancing / AR processes High attention to detail and analytical skills Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
