Job Description

Lead Complex Healthcare Construction ProjectsOur client is a leading Columbus-based General Contractor with more than 50 years of experience delivering complex healthcare and commercial construction projects. Recognized for its expertise in occupied hospital environments and technically challenging builds, the company has established long-standing relationships with some of the region's premier healthcare systems. With a strong backlog of healthcare work and a commitment to developing talent from within, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to lead impactful projects while advancing their career. The company invests heavily in training, mentorship, and leadership development, providing a clear path toward Senior Project Manager and beyond.Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Manage project budgets, forecasting, subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change order administration. Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, and hospital stakeholders. Oversee procurement, RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and regulatory compliance throughout each phase of construction. Partner closely with field leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure quality, logistics, and project sequencing are successfully executed. Build and maintain strong client relationships by leading project meetings and providing proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, including ICRA protocols and infection control requirements when applicable. A strong understanding of ICRA requirements and healthcare construction best practices is highly preferred. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and change orders. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and coordination across multiple trades. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.Competitive base salary of $110,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
