Healthcare Provider Data SpecialistIrving, TX | OnsiteCOMPENSATION & SCHEDULE$22.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM–6:00 PMW2, Temp to HireStart date: ASAP ROLE IMPACT: The Provider Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date provider data across internal systems and payer platforms. This role plays a key part in supporting billing accuracy, provider directory integrity, and overall operational efficiency by ensuring provider information is complete, compliant, and properly maintained.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and update provider demographic and credentialing data in internal systems and payer platforms
Ensure accuracy of provider records including NPI, licensure, certifications, and affiliations
Perform data audits and validation to identify and correct discrepancies
Manage provider data updates, changes, and terminations in a timely manner
Support provider enrollment and credentialing teams with accurate data entry and documentation
Maintain CAQH profiles and ensure data consistency across multiple systems
Assist with payer roster updates and provider directory accuracy
Research and resolve data issues impacting provider records or claims processing REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED required2–3+ years of experience in provider data management, provider enrollment, credentialing, or healthcare administration
Experience working with provider data systems, payer portals, or healthcare databases
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage high-volume data entry and meet deadlines CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMSMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Provider data management systems and credentialing platformsCAQH, PECOS, and payer portals
Electronic document management systems PREFERRED SKILLSExperience with provider data auditing and data quality control
Knowledge of provider lifecycle processes (onboarding, updates, terminations)Understanding of payer requirements and provider directory standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
