Job Description

Healthcare Regulatory Associate (DC or NY)

Our client is a global Am Law 100 firm seeking a mid-level Healthcare Associate with 3-5 years of experience and a strong background in health regulatory law applicable to the healthcare and life sciences industries. This hybrid position is open for the Washington, D.C. or New York offices, with a preference for Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will work on fraud and abuse, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, reimbursement, and regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions, with exposure to telehealth and digital health companies.

The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in DC or NY
  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare regulatory experience
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred
  • Experience working on healthcare transactions, including private equity, M&A, and investment areas
  • Law firm environment experience required; government experience at CMS, OCR, or DOJ is a plus
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Superior analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
