  • Advise healthcare clients on day to day operational and regulatory matters
  • Counsel clients on provider and facility licensing requirements
  • Provide guidance on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory compliance
  • Analyze and advise on issues related to the federal Stark Law and federal and state anti kickback statutes
  • Assist clients with healthcare fraud and abuse compliance matters
  • Support regulatory risk assessments and enforcement related matters
  • Provide guidance on healthcare privacy issues and regulatory considerations in healthcare mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications
  • 3 to 6 years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law at a reputable law firm
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis
  • Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, fraud waste and abuse compliance, healthcare privacy, and regulatory aspects of healthcare transactions strongly preferred
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and drafting ability
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory matters in a collaborative environment
Additional Requirements
  • Must reside in the Nashville, TN area at the time of hire
  • Must be licensed or willing to become licensed to practice law in Tennessee
  • Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office
