We areseekinga talented individual to join ourHealthcareInvestmentteamat Mercer, a Marshcompany.This rolecan be based inNew York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, L.A., Seattle, Phoenix, Minneapolis,and St. Louis. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is a client-facing, Investment Consulting role that will work primarily with Mercer’sHealthcareclients, afocusgrowth investment practice.
We will count on you to:
Work withclients’ staff, investment committees, and boards to deliver a spectrum of investment advice and solutions.
Analyze markets, investment managers, portfolios, and investment performance.
Leverage yourexpertiseto design,develop,deliver, andcommunicateinvestment solutions for clients.
Collaborate across internal teamsoninvestment strategy, portfolio management, research, marketing, sales, and consulting practice.
Mentor junior colleagues in their career development.
Source and cultivate relationships with prospective clients and engage with existing clients to grow the breadth of services we deliver to help them advance their missions.
What you need to have:
A bachelor's degree preferably in a field relevant to this position
CFA charterand/or MBA
10+years of experience related to this position
A proven history of excellent client service
Excellent presentationskills
Experiencepresenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication, across both traditional and alternative investments
Self-motivation and proven ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
Mastery of detail while understanding the bigger picture
Eagerness to learn and keep up to date with the investment industry and market conditions
Adaptability and decisiveness
Technical skills;proficiencyin Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability and desire to manage, motivate, and mentor junior-level colleagues
Preferred experience leading relationships with bothmulti-billion, multi-poolhealthsystems
