Westaff is Hiring for a Heat Treat Operator in Hamden, CT!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr, depending on experience

A manufacturing facility in Hamden, CT is seeking a reliable Heat Treat Operator to support daily furnace operations and metal-treatment processes. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in heat treating, metal finishing, or working around hot, heavy industrial equipment.

Heat Treat Requirements:

Load and unload furnaces safely and efficiently
Monitor temperature cycles throughout heat-treat processes
Perform hardness testing and quality checks on treated parts
Work safely around hot metal, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment

Heat Treat Experience:

Heat treat or furnace operation
Black oxide finishing
Anodizing or powder coating
Metal coatings or metal finishing
Tempering processes
Any hands-on work in hot-metal environments
