About the Role
EBARA Technologies is looking for a Heater System Design Intern to assist with engineering tasks related to line heater design and tailored customer solutions. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in product design, collaboration with vendors, and engineering processes within a dynamic semiconductor equipment environment.
What You'll Do
- Learn the fundamentals of line heater design and product selection
- Review customer requirements, specifications, and line drawings
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and assign costs to support customer quotations
- Review vendor drawings, redline discrepancies, and support correction cycles
- Support special engineering projects, including solid modeling and 3D printing, as business needs dictate
What We're Looking For
- Upper-division student pursuing an Engineering degree
- Solid foundation in engineering principles
- Proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with other 3D modeling tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a technical environment
