Description

An outstanding opportunity is available for a Heavy Civil Superintendent near Reedsport, OR with a well-established Oregon-based heavy-civil contractor. This is a senior-level, hands-on field leadership role offering high autonomy, direct access to ownership, and the chance to lead complete excavation, grading, utilities, paving, and pump station projects in a lean, self-performing environment along the rural Oregon coast.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Civil Superintendent position include:

5-15+ years of heavy civil construction experience with superintendent-level field leadership
Proven experience running excavation and grading operations
Strong background managing underground utility installation, including pipe work
Experience coordinating paving operations and working with self-performing crews
Pump station construction exposure is strongly preferred
Ability to personally run projects ranging from $1M-$10M, not just assist or manage administrative portions
Comfortable working onsite in a rural coastal Oregon environment with limited urban amenities and coastal weather conditions
HeavyJob and HCSS experience is a plus, with strong crew leadership, scheduling, mentoring, and project coordination skills

Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
