Job Description
- Maintenance and Repair to Equipment and Trucks is the Primary Task.
- Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
- Perform and record routine maintenance according to schedule.
- Provide routine inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Repair equipment as needed.
- WELDING, welding/build-up auger tools, secondary task; not a prerequisite to mechanic position, but a plus.
- Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Adhere to company work safety policies.
- Provide your own set of basic hand tools.
- Experience conducting routine heavy equipment and truck repair/maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience inspecting heavy equipment and trucks.
- Practical mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Sound mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- The ability to operate heavy equipment, a CDL, and or welding fabrication ability; IS A PLUS.
- Drill rigs, backhoes, excavators, skid steer, geoprobe, trucks, trailers, and small engines.

DeAngelis, an Engineering Geologist (M.Sc., P.G.) with over 30 years experience in subsurface investigations. With over 50 years experience in test borings, we understand the importance of having a knowledge of subsurface conditions for the design of foundations and we take this experience with us to projects in the feasibility, construction and settlement correction phases.
