We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team. - Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections, to ensure equipment longevity.
- System Repairs: Overhaul and repair major components, including fuel systems, electrical circuits, and complex hydraulic setups.
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform minor welding and torch-cutting tasks to repair frames or buckets as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate digital logs of all repairs, parts used, and inspection findings.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, ensuring a clean and hazard-free workspace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a mechanic specifically working on heavy construction or agricultural equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diesel engines and high-pressure hydraulic systems.
- Tooling: Must possess a personal set of basic tools (specialized tools will be provided).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and spend long periods standing or kneeling in various weather conditions.
