Heavy Equipment Operator– Pro‑Bark Mulch
Part‑Time / Seasonal (March–October)Starting Pay: $18–21 per hour (based on experience)Location: Waukesha County, WI
Pro‑Bark Mulch is preparing for the 2026 season and is seeking dependable, hardworking heavy equipment operator to support daily yard operations. These roles are part‑time/seasonal and ideal for individuals looking for steady hours during the spring–fall season without the expectation of year‑round benefits.
Position Details
Schedule: Wednesday–SaturdayDaily Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPositions Needed: 1–2 Operators
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, specifically a front‑end loader, to load mulch and landscape materials into customer vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load mulch and landscape materials using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools when needed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining mulch piles and yard inventory
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to walk‑in customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard environment
- Assist with general yard labor as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment, with emphasis on front‑end loader operation, strongly preferred
- Previous experience in outdoor labor, landscaping, or yard work preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Must reside in or near Waukesha County
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to shovel, rake, and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
