Job Description

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a well-established New Hampshire contractor based in Newington, NH. This is a permanent opportunity with steady work on a variety of local projects!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid-steers, and backhoes

  • Perform work on demolition, excavation, dredging, utility installation, and hardscaping projects

  • Read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes

  • Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew

  • Perform daily equipment inspections

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of construction experience

  • Proven experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • OSHA 10 certification 

  • Strong communication skills

  • Commitment to safe work practices

Pay & Benefits:

  • $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)
