This role is responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction, excavation, and site development projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and productivity.The ideal Heavy Equipment Operator has hands-on experience with multiple types of equipment, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous experience operating heavy equipment in construction, excavation, or similar industries preferred Experience operating forklifts, dozers, trucks, excavators, loaders, or similar equipment preferred Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy machinery Understanding of construction site practices and OSHA safety standards Ability to follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions Reliable transportation and consistent attendance REQUIRED Valid driver's license required Strong attention to detail and situational awarenessEssential Duties & Responsibilities Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, skid steers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform excavation, grading, trenching, material handling, and site preparation tasks Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to complete assigned work Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly Work closely with supervisors, laborers, and other operators to maintain productivity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times Assist with additional site duties as needed to support project completionPreferred Qualifications NCCCO or equivalent heavy equipment certification Experience with GPS or laser-guided equipment systems Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues Experience operating multiple classes of construction equipmentPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to work overtime and weekends when requiredWork Environment Outdoor construction and industrial job sites Exposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and changing weather conditions Fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring constant attention to safety PPE required while operating equipment and working on-siteWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay with DOE increases Stable Monday Friday schedule with overtime opportunities Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to operate a variety of heavy equipment Team-oriented environment with growth potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PMStand-By Personnel
