Required Skills:
- General awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network management
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise.
- Ability deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile
- Understanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devices.
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, stakeholders, budget, and time.
- Help Desk experience preferred
Specific Job Functions
- Provides Helpdesk support by telephone, email or any other source.
- Provides support for end user hardware including but not limited to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and VoIP phone system including configuration, installation, troubleshooting and repair.
- Provides support for bank approved software or web-based applications including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair.
- Documents all requests for work in IT ticketing system.
- Develops and maintains inventory of laptops and workstations and peripheral devices associated with them.
- Adds, removes and maintains workstation/laptop equipment in active directory, antivirus, and software updates systems.
- Assigns and maintains the network IP addresses.
- Provides password resets, changes and unlock assistance with all applications managed by the IT Department.
- When assigned, assist with the network, services, and server-based applications installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair.
- When assigned, add, remove and maintain active directory users and other software or applications managed by the IT Department.
Education Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a computer related field preferred
- Comp TIA certifications including A+, Network+, and/or Security+ preferred
- Microsoft certifications which could include MCP preferred
