Job Description
Job Title: Hematology/Oncology PhysicianHourly Pay Rate: $4,290.00Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team. This primarily outpatient role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients with a focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology. The physician will perform both new patient consultations and follow-up appointments. There may be opportunities to assist with inpatient coverage, including night and weekend call duties, based on availability and interest.Work Details:
- Support Staff: 3 full-time administrative assistants, nursing assistants, RNs, and APP support (APRN and/or PA-C)
- Coverage Needed: At least 1 week per month, with a preference for providers willing to cover 2-4 weeks per month
- Patient Load: Approximately 16 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adults
- Department: Medical Oncology
- EMR System: EPIC
- Requirements:
- Board Certification: BE or BC
- License: KY or IMLC preferred; open to licensing candidates
- DEA License: KY required
- Experience: Outpatient medical oncology experience required; new grads are welcome
- Epic experience preferred
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-Hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00)
- Daily Billing Rate: $5,500
- Overtime (after 9 hours/day): $850/hr
