High School SPED Para/Driver We are seeking a patient, dependable, and compassionate Paraeducator to support students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) and other high needs in both the classroom and during transportation. This position plays a vital part in ensuring student safety, emotional regulation, and educational support throughout the day. The role includes driving a van or small bus to transport students to and from school or programs.Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small-group academic, emotional, and behavioral support to high-needs students *
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional tasks and behavior management*
- Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)*
- Monitor and document student behavior and progress*
- Create a calm, structured, and respectful classroom environment*
- Safely drive a van or small bus to transport students with special needs*
- All other duties will be assigned by the supervisor.*
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical.
