Job Description

At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85,000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More Than a Job: A Mission

We are looking for a passionate technician who thrives on precision, reliability, and teamwork. You will contribute to the design, maintenance, and optimization of high-speed rail systems, working alongside dedicated professionals who share a commitment to safety, performance, and innovation.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Ensure mechanical systems scalability through continuous improvement and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Maintain reliability of high-speed train components using diagnostic tools and root cause analysis.
  • Drive innovation by implementing new mechanical testing methods and digital maintenance solutions.
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices across maintenance and engineering teams to strengthen collective expertise.

You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and ERP systems.
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and brake systems in rail or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and condition-based monitoring techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to support cross-discipline problem-solving.

How Success Is Measured

  • On-time delivery of maintenance and support tasks aligned with operational goals.
  • Effective collaboration and contribution to team performance and safety culture.
  • Reduction in mechanical failures and improved system uptime through proactive maintenance.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow

  • Access to advanced rail technologies and continuous process innovation.
  • Global impact through local expertise in sustainable mobility solutions.
  • Career advancement supported by technical training and professional development programs.

Compensation: $60,000 - $63,000

Here, progress isn't always easy but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
