- Market Entry & Business Development: Develop and execute targeted strategies to grow the company's presence in the public higher education sector, leveraging existing relationships for qualified opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for higher education clients, fostering long-term partnerships and understanding institutional priorities.
- Project Oversight & Execution Support: Provide executive-level oversight from preconstruction through completion, ensuring projects adhere to public-sector requirements and best practices.
- Internal Leadership & Market Development: Act as the subject-matter expert for higher education construction, guiding strategic planning and representing the company in industry organizations.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop internal project management staff to enhance the firm’s capabilities in delivering complex higher education projects.
- 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in public higher education or similar public-sector markets.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects such as academic buildings, student housing, and campus infrastructure.
- Proven track record of business development success in public or institutional environments, with established relationships in the sector.
- Strong understanding of public procurement and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a desire for broader leadership growth.
