Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility near Chadron, Nebraska to find an experienced Surgical Technologist for a full-time opportunity. Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment prior to procedures

• Set up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements

• Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures

• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other members of the operating room team

• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures

• Perform surgical counts for instruments, sponges, sharps, and other supplies

• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery

• Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly before procedures

• Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety standards

• Assist with cleaning and turnover of operating rooms between procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and procedures

• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other clinical staff

Education & Certification Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

• Current CST – Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred or required based on facility guidelines

• Current BLS certification

• Previous operating room or surgical services experience preferred

• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and infection control standards

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
