Structural Steel Welder Fabricator — Urgently hiring in Corvallis!Job Title: Structural Steel Welder FabricatorPay: $27 - $33 per hourHours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (potential to extend to 4:30 PM), M-FStart Date: ASAPLooking for a rewarding opportunity with career growth? Join a reputable steel fabrication shop in Corvallis, Oregon, as a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator and make a difference every day.As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality steel components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure precision and excellence in every project.What You’ll Do As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and follow process procedures.*
  • Operating welding equipment using processes such as FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW, and others as needed.*
  • Utilizing various equipment and machines, including brakes, shears, and manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting tools, along with brazing and soldering equipment.*
  • Performing layout and fit-up of structural steel components including beams, columns, braces, and connections.*
  • Repairing worn parts of metal products by welding additional layers.*
  • Completing other duties as assigned to ensure project success.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.*
  • 2-4 years of structural steel welding experience.*
  • Familiarity with AWS welding symbols.*
  • A strong desire to work consistently in the shop rather than travel.*
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.*
  • A safety-conscious mindset.*
  • The capability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
