We're currently hiring an experienced Commercial Carpenter for an active retail construction project in Rockland, Maine. If you're dependable, take pride in your craftsmanship, and want to be part of a respected construction team, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Perform commercial carpentry work on renovation and construction projects
- Complete layout, framing, blocking, drywall, and finish carpentry tasks
- Install doors, hardware, fixtures, and millwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and fellow tradespeople
- Follow all OSHA and site safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Experience working in active retail or commercial environments is a plus
- Ability to safely and efficiently use hand and power tools
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred (training available if needed)
