Pay: starting $31

Schedule: Mon-Wed

Shift: General 8/hr shift 4:30am-12pm

To aid in our rapid growth and continue to differentiate our patient experience, we're hiring a PT24 Histotechnologist/Histotechnician. The ideal candidate will cover all aspects of histotechnology/accessioning for our lab located in Troy, MI

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

Accessioning and data entry
Tissue processing
Grossing (if person meets CLIA and CAP requirements)
Microtomy
Embedding
Staining including special stains
Labeling and Filing
Equipment Maintenance and completion of logs
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Must be able to work independently
Must be reliable
Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

BS or Associates as required by CAP
ASCP HT or HTL
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the United States
