Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for healthcare platforms, ensuring compliance with Optum Health Enterprise Architecture standards and technology strategy.
- Align technology solutions with organizational governance and enterprise strategies.
- Provide expert consultation on technology, application portfolio management, and vendor management to maximize technology investments.
- Design, integrate, and maintain complex healthcare systems using industry standards and protocols such as HL7, FHIR, EDI, DICOM, RIS/PACS, Master Data Management (MDM), Electronic Health Record Systems (Epic a plus), and interface engines.
- Manage and optimize application portfolios and oversee third-party vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with senior business and technical leaders to formulate technology strategy and establish technical governance.
- Apply healthcare domain expertise across multiple areas including provider, patient, clinical, claims, payer, value-based care, and system interoperability.
- Ensure interoperability and integration of various healthcare IT components.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare IT standards, system architecture, and integration technologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging healthcare technologies and industry best practices.
