Dedicated Class-A Driver | Home 3–4 Times Weekly & $1,500–$1,700+ Average | Near Joliet, IL
- What is the realistic weekly earning potential on this run?
- Drivers average $1,500 to $1,700 weekly ($75k–$100k yearly), with high-volume unloaders pulling $2,000+ gross.
- You earn $0.82–$0.85 CPM, $245 per trailer unhooked/offloaded, $70 per return backhaul, $25 per store stop, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus ($250 on load #1).
- How does freight dispatch and unloading work?
- Dispatches launch out of Joliet, hitting retail store docks throughout IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY (800–1,000 miles weekly).
- This is a 100% physical hand-offload run touching stacked merchandise. Includes a 2-day paid ride-along ($150/day).
- Trucks park at the Joliet DC or Markham facility between shifts.
- How often will I get to sleep at home?
- Expect to be home 3 to 4 times a week, taking 10-hour daily resets in your own bed roughly every other day.
- Shifts span Sunday through Saturday, with your 34-hour weekend reset scheduled around your route deliveries.
- What is required to qualify and what are the benefits?
- Must have at least 3 months of verified Class-A experience in the past 36 months.
- Clean pre-employment hair and urine drug screens are required.
